• Lead the design and implementation of Infactory’s overall AI strategy.
• Build and manage a high-performing AI engineering and R&D team.
• Own the development of proprietary algorithms tailored for improving accuracy and reducing hallucinations
• Work at the forefront of Gen AI and join at a critical point in the lifespan of the company

• Design and improve our query intent classification system for semantic search, increasing relevance and precision
• Evaluate our naming taxonomy for effectiveness with embeddings and vector databases

• Educational Background: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Experience: approximately 10 years of experience in AI/ML, preferably from a broad NLP background solving problems around Search, Information Retrieval, Reasoning and hallucinations
• Technical Skills: Must be skilled in building architectures and rolling up your sleeves to code. Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks, data analysis, and large-scale algorithm deployment.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLP applications in fact-checking, data integrity, and information verification.
• Owners’ mindset: Excited and motivated to work in an early-stage startup environment

• San Francisco Bay Area/Hybrid preferred, but remote considered
• Base pay up to $300k with equity in an early-stage startup
