About This Position
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with program and department managers, design and project teams, and construction managers.
- Develop clean energy projects in the geographic region.
- Recruit and support the growth of a mechanical, electrical, and energy engineering team.
- Mentor the regional clean energy engineering team.
- Conduct preliminary systems assessment and high-level project strategy development.
- Perform field investigation and condition assessment of existing systems, primarily mechanical, electrical, and energy systems.
- Assist in the development of project and proposal preparation.
- Develop a basis of design scopes of work, schematics, and P&ID drawings.
- Create implementation plans and schedules.
- Prepare and write reports and presentations.
- Meet with clients to support engineering projects throughout design and construction.
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy engineering.
- Preferred PE license.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or other industry-related certifications are a plus, but not required.
- Expertise in multiple technical areas of Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy Engineering.
- Capable and responsible for QA/QC on assigned tasks and projects.
- Ability to lead the development of construction documents and support bidding and construction activities during implementation.
- Experience in developing MEP and energy projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal staff and clients.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software is a plus.
- Experience with building modeling software is a plus.
