Position Summary:
The Department ofRadiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking anoutstanding individual to join our Neuroradiology section. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medicalcenter one of the best places to work in the Southwest!

Clinicalresponsibilities will focus primarily on multimodal neuroimaging interpretationwith opportunities to assist in other subspecialties according to interest orexpertise. It is desirable that thecandidate have expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques, includingfunctional MRI, DTI, MR Spectroscopy, and CT/MR perfusion, along with basicprocedural skills in fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture and myelography. Neuroradiologists serve as primaryconsultants to multiple subspecialty clinical services, including adult andchild neurology, neurosurgery, and otolaryngology, and our team participates inseveral multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards each week. Researchopportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and imageprocessing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publicationsstaff.

• MD, DO, or equivalent

• Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico

• ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date

• Completed Fellowship in Neuroradiology, hold a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology (ABR CAQ), eligible for ABR CAQ by contract start date, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications are as follows:

• Expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques including functional MRI, DTI, MR spectroscopy and CT/MR perfusion, along with basic procedural skills in fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture and myelography

• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities

• Desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows
