Central Distribution/Storeroom Supervisor at CareWell Health – East Orange, New Jersey

Job Summary

To assure the smooth flow of supplies and products into the facility.

Essential Functions

• Supervises & coordinates the daily routine of Central Distribution
• Oversees Linen Department & covers staff outages when necessary
• Performs inventory cycle counts on a weekly basis
• Reviews min/max levels to ensure product availability & avoid overstocks
• Interacts with purchasing to communicate stock levels needed for order entry
• Inputs supply requisitions from depts. to MM system
• Serves as team leader at yearend inventory to ensure accuracy of physical counts
• Performs weekly linen inventory on all floors to confirm usage figures
• Performs other work of the department as required

Minimum Education/Certifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience
Five years Inventory/Receiving Experience. Read and write English to the degree necessary to complete the job. Basic computer literacy necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
