Radiology Technologist Assistant (Student) at Holzer Health System – Jackson, Ohio

Position Summary: The Radiology Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, and Nuclear Medicine technologists with patient care both directly and indirectly. The technologist assistant performs a variety of duties related to expediting patients throughout the department and hospital as needed. Duties may include patient preparation, patient transporting, order verification & clarification, scheduling, ordering and stocking of supplies, obtaining films from other facilities and data input into the RIS and/or PACs operating system. This position has access to confidential information.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
• Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Must successfully obtain registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and a current state license applicable to their work site within 90 days of graduation. In the event this does not occur, employment will be terminated.
