Job Description
The Project Coordinator will work as part of the interdisciplinary, patient-centered HIV care team at Ellis Primary Care and Family Medicine Residency. Under the direction of the HIV Clinical Director, the incumbent will work on programmatic goals to ensure program goals are being met. This position does not require a medical background as the Project Coordinator would function as the administrator of the program although his/her role which will entail review of clinical data and an understanding of HIV positive patients’ role in the health system at the Family Health Center (FHC).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate’s Degree
OR
One to three years of experience in healthcare or related field.
Experience: Microsoft Office skills required (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills are essential for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Works independently, requesting assistance when needed.
- Collects data requirements as needed for the program.
- Maintains adherence to programs criteria.
- Manages budget for program and reports outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Maintains networking relationships to remain relevant with program goals.
- Research and examination of services available to HIV Patients.
- Identify methods of funding for HIV Grant, both independently and with assistance of the AIDS Institute.
- Collaborate with Clinical Case Manager on data entry and data submission.
- Communicate clinical issues with Case Manager in efforts to improve overall program.
- Develop overarching direction of the program.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate actionable findings in clear and concise language.

Salary Range: $20.21-$29.31/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
