JOB DESCRIPTION Shift Manager

The shift manager will be responsible for supervising all team members during his/her scheduled shift. The shift manager will oversee a productive shift, ensuring all guests have a great experience and that all team members stay focused on guests, the dining area, including the restrooms and 2nd mile service.

Job Functions:

Help implement the plans of the Director in charge
Know projected sales and labor goals for your shift
Communicate Drive Thru goals to the Drive Thru Team.
Perform shift huddles before all peak periods of business.
Keep yourself and team productive and adjust labor when needed.
Make sure team stays motivated and focused on guest service.
When necessary, coach and/or document if necessary when team member needs to improve performance
Complete mandatory checklists daily.
Document issues and injuries
Read and stay abreast of issues through Manager Communications page
Complete all training available through Chick-Fil-A website
Be responsible for cash flow, and follow all cash handling procedures.

Minimum requirements

18 years
Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Able to stand to perform job functions for the entire shift
Math aptitude and comfort level with technology
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members and guests
Minimum 2 years front counter experience
Proven supervisory experience

Additional Requirements

Ability to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities in addition to shift management.
Learn Quick and work under a variety of conditions including fast paced
Follow all hygiene and safety rules including food safety and personal safety
Positive friendly attitude
