Avera is now hiring a Security Officer to work in our facility!

Job Summary

Responsible to provide security for patients, employees, and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises as assigned. Also provides traffic control and maintains parking lots and structures.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Work Schedule

• Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00pm-6:00am, occas holiday; 72-hours/2weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $19.00 - $23.50 per hour
