Refrigeration Technician at Holmes Foods – Nixon, Texas

RESUMES OR PRIOR JOB HISTORY REQUIRED

A hands-on industrial maintenance position will provide technical support to maintenance and operational teams

Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems, sub-systems, and all auxiliary processes

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance

Operate tele-handler, forklift, man-lift and pallet jack

Complete daily, weekly, monthly log forms

Perform water treatment checks on condensers, add chemicals, calibrate sensors, testing equipment, make repairs and adjustments to water treatment systems

Provide assistance in other departments as needed

Must be able to: lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, crouch, kneel and work from elevated platforms

Must be able to work in all conditions; hot, humid, cold, wet, coolers, and freezers

Minimum 1 year refrigeration/industrial maintenance experience required

Must have a flexible schedule, work OT if needed, holidays, weekends, and be on call

Must meet physical requirements,

Random drug screening

*List skills

Will be on rotating On Call schedule

Monday 3:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m

Tuesday 3:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday 3:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Thursday OFF

Friday 5:00 a.m. - Finish

Saturday 5:00 a.m - Finish
