Description:

Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring a Naval Architect to support and provide experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, and maintenance. In this role you will provide all services necessary to ensure the efficient operation of all physical and virtual servers. You will support Government requirements to maintain data center computing, storage, and networking capabilities at Government data centers and within associated commercial cloud environments.

We are seeking a Naval Architect that will be part of an energetic, results-driven team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

ENGINEERING
• Perform engineering, mathematical, and statistical analyses & studies; prepare and present results
• Use engineering and statistical software to perform analyses; assist in developing tools to perform analyses where none exist
• Conduct and present the results of engineering studies
• Perform engineering field work
DATA, DATABASE, AND INFRASTRUCTURE
• Perform data and database quality control & assurance for the eCCIMS, eBCMP, and M&SWP databases, and other sources of data used by the CPA or as assigned.
• Initiate change requests to update data or databases, make changes to data or databases.
• Perform data analytics; run, prepare, present reports on the data & results of the analyses.
• Develop new tools, products, and techniques for managing and displaying data.
• Document new or changes to processes and instructions, develop process guides using Microsoft or other appropriate applications.
• Respond to data calls and queries from internal & external stakeholders
• Schedule, host, and administrate meetings; Face-to-Face, telephone, or virtually via online connection
• Present at meetings
• Transfer data from external sources (paper or electronic) into CPA databases and sources of data
• Perform data entry
• Perform document reviews

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

- U.S. Citizenship required.

- Candidate must be Secret Clearance Eligible

- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

-3 years MINIMUM professional experience

PREFERRED:

- Bachelor's level degree in Naval Architecture or Civil Engineering

- Certificate: Engineer in Training (EIT)

- 3 years professional experience in engineering, not required. (ENTRY level)

- Experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance
