About This Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Administrator to join our team. The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of IT best practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, ensuring network security, managing user accounts, providing technical support to staff, and implementing system updates and backups. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to keeping our IT systems running smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (networks, servers, and hardware).
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software applications.
  • Monitor and ensure network security and data integrity.
  • Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT issues promptly.
  • Implement system updates, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.
  • Ensure system performance optimization and minimize downtime.
  • Document IT procedures and maintain inventory of IT assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and database management.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, security protocols, and network management tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members and end-users.
