REGISTERED NURSE- NJ at EUTIS STAFFING INC – PARAMUS, New Jersey

The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NJDMAVA) is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN I) for temporary assignments at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home, located at 1 Veterans Way, Paramus, NJ 07652. These assignments are expected to last up to 6 months or longer, with flexible start dates and coverage needed on a TBD/as-needed basis. Nurses may be scheduled for any of the three standard shifts: 7:00 AM3:00 PM, 3:00 PM11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM7:00 AM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime may be required.

Nurses will be responsible for standard RN duties as outlined in the CSC charge nurse job description, including supervising support staff, monitoring patient health, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position requires proficiency in using phones, computers, med carts, and potentially MDS software. All candidates must have a valid NJ RN license, be CPR certified, and provide documentation for full COVID-19 vaccination (including latest booster) and flu vaccination. A valid state-issued ID or driver's license is also mandatory.

A background check will be conducted, including SSN trace, statewide criminal and federal checks, sex offender registry, employment history, education verification, motor vehicle check, and a 10-panel drug screening. Interviews are currently waived, and new hires will report to the Nursing Staffing Office on their first day. Approved timecards will be overseen by Shelly Machado (primary) and Allette Palmer-Ottey (secondary). The position requires individuals who are personable, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to quality care for veterans in a long-term care setting. Candidates should be prepared to wear uniform scrubs and work onsite full time.
