Job Overview:

Support Aides are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge,

They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trashcans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse's station, hallways, stairs, elevators, floor care projects and room setups as needed,

Qualifications:

Required:

Monday to Friday,

No Weekends or Holidays

Preferred:

• One to two years as a housekeeper or service worker preferred,
• Command of English,
• Physical Functions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods,
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 lbs,
• Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requires special clothing or safety equipment.

Scheduling Requirements

• Evening Shift, 5:00am - 10:30pm
• 25 Hours per week
• Part Time

Essential Functions:

To provide housekeeping/cleaning service that will support the highest possible level of cleanliness and sanitation to the department; provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; maintain an orderly and attractive environment throughout the facility in accordance to RWJ standards
