JOB SUMMARY
- Provides quality service in the performance of laboratory testing. Uses clinical laboratory education and experience to provide reliable test results, to communicate abnormal results to physicians, and to troubleshoot problems with equipment and quality control.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
  - This position requires a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology or a related health field. Must also have attended an accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Scientist clinical program. Must have passed or be eligible to take a national certification test within 1 year of employment.
- Job Knowledge and Skills:
  - The ability to use the following equipment and software: Telephone, Copier, Fax Machine, Shredder, Computer, Microsoft Word/Excel, LIS (Laboratory Information System), Lab Instruments
