About This Position
Role Summary: As the Event Sales Manager, you will drive revenue by securing event bookings, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution from initial inquiry to follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure event Sales calendar is updated regularly.
2. Ensures all websites and internal calendars/signage are updated regularly.
3. Responds to all of the new incoming inquiries, follows up with previous incoming calls and emails.
4. Give tours of the space to prospective clients
5. Work with clients to create their event—organize from start to finish. Sending contracts, creating menus, organizing any floral, décor, AV or any needed rentals for the event.
6. Work with clients and vendors to ensure that all needs for the events are taken care of
7. Ensure that all financial components are handled from the deposits received to the final payments at the close of each event. Reviewing bills and approving all payments.
8. Make sure all events are in the reservations system and proper tables are blocked.
9. Meet with the chef to go over the following week's events and to get food counts.
10. Review staffing with managers to ensure proper coverage.
11. Have scheduled weekly calls with event coordinators to ensure that all BEO’s are understood, menus are clear and review any special setup that may be needed.
12. Email the upcoming events each week to the entire team (managers and chefs).
13. Be on sire for partial to full buyouts to help oversee execution and to further enhance the client relationship
14. Cultivate pitches to secure local, regional and national partners/sponsors to create events that attract publicity and attendance to the venue.
15. Work with the Beverage Manager/Director to secure liquor sponsors for events.
16. Negotiate contracts with vendors who provide necessary event elements and services such as décor, entertainment, costumes, performers, branded promotional giveaways, etc.
17. Assist in overall Sales operation utilizing relationships for talent bookings, DJ recommendations, promotional partners, etc.
18. Ensure all event advertising collateral is sent to print, delivered and posted by deadline.
19. Coordinate with hosts, promoters and hotel departments to ensure all sales events and initiatives are properly being communicated to key constituents.
20. Stay current with local organizations, influencers and events that could be potential partners.
21. Stay current with all pop culture and current events and looks for opportunities to capitalize on trends through nightclub events.
22. Proactively reach out to relevant brands exhibiting at major conventions in the city for opportunities to host events and promotions during major convention weeks.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in event sales, event management, or a related role.
2. Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
3. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
4. Proficient in evernt management software and CRM tools.
5. Working knowledge of Triple Seat, Toast, Resy, and Google Drive.
6. Budget tracking, sales concepts, people management, competitive analysis, forecasting, client relationships, creativity
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical Demands:
1. Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
2. Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
3. Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
4. Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
5. Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Salary:
$40/hr plus 3% commission on all booked events.
Minimum 15 hours per week, but may extend to full-time dependent on business needs.
