Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Superintendent to oversee large-scale electrical projects with top-tier general contractors. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, streamlined operations, and minimal corporate bureaucracy, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of electrical installations for large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and codes.
• Coordination with General Contractors: Collaborate closely with leading general contractors to align project goals, schedules, and resources, fostering strong partnerships and efficient workflows.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate on-site electrical crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards.
• Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating material deliveries, labor, and equipment to meet milestones with minimal delays.
• Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges promptly, implementing practical solutions to keep projects on track while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards, client expectations, and project specifications through regular inspections and documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety on all job sites.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical scope, providing clear updates to general contractors and clients while minimizing unnecessary reporting.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in electrical construction, with at least 5 years as a superintendent or similar role managing large-scale projects ($5M+).
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of electrical systems, codes (NEC), and construction methods for commercial or industrial projects.
• Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with top general contractors, architects, and engineers in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Leadership: Strong ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain morale under tight deadlines.
• Certifications: Valid journeyman or master electrician license required; OSHA 30 certification required.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Autodesk) and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
