About This Position
Choisys Technology is seeking a Web and Graphics Developer to support the Legal Center & School (LLC) in Charlottesville, VA. This hybrid role supports the development and maintenance of web pages, user interface design, and digital graphics for internal training and communication platforms.
90% remote - 10% onsite - In-person attendance required every other Tuesday.
NOTE: Initial onboarding period may require daily in-person attendance to acclimate to systems, workflows, and team dynamics.
Position Summary:
The Web and Graphics Developer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s internal and external digital assets, including web pages, UI/UX elements, and graphic content across platforms such as websites, LMS (e.g., Blackboard), and internal tools. This role also includes collaboration with stakeholders to develop intuitive, user-friendly digital environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain web pages, templates, and graphics with a strong focus on user interface and accessibility.
- Develop and update web and multimedia content (including graphics and layout) to support training, communication, and instructional needs.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and site leads to execute design revisions and implement technical updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to performance, usability, and functionality.
- Support CMS-based development efforts and collaborate on dynamic content integration.
- Ensure compliance with design and image standards across digital platforms.
- Provide regular website analytics and usage reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with front-end web development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and front-end development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid foundation in UX design principles and responsive design.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SCSS.
- Experience with Canva for graphic editing.
- DNN CMS experience is a plus.
