Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients in their homes, implementing individualized treatment programs designed to improve communication, social skills, daily living activities, and behavior reduction plans as developed by BCBAs.
  • Collect and record data during sessions to allow BCBAs to track client progress effectively and address any areas of concern.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their families, adapting to different situations based on each client’s unique needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members while maintaining a professional presence, and communicate with empathy, kindness, and clarity.
  • Demonstrate a deep care and passion for each child’s journey, believing in their potential and actively supporting them to reach their goals.
  • Be open to ongoing learning and training, committed to providing the highest quality of care to those you serve.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching or providing patient care within a special education framework is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of data collection methods related to behavioral health interventions is ideal. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $19-21 per hour, based on experience
