Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide AutoCAD labor and direction as required to complete Graphical User Interface (GUI) accurately and professionally.
- Clean up layers in engineer drawings to provide an architectural background for Graphics User Interface (GUI) and engineering.
- Provide support to Climatec engineering personnel.
- Communicate with internal employees as required to ensure engineering is accurate and timely.
- Interface with point database to populate graphics with real time data, which will activate dynamic graphics.
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or current student in art school, graphic design, STEM school with 0-2 years of experience.
- Graphic Design: Basic understanding of how to create visually engaging designs that align with project requirements.
- Image Editing: Experience with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
- Web Design: Understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles.
- Autodesk/AutoCAD/Revit: Experience working with these platforms to create and modify technical designs.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be available to work from the office between the hours of 8am-5pm M-F (flexible hours within those constraints to accommodate your class schedule)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3D Modeling/Rendering: Familiarity with software like Blender, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Animation: Skills in creating motion graphics or animations to enhance visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical schematics, with 1+ year of training or exposure.
- Previous hands-on experience (e.g., through school projects, part-time work, or internships) totaling at least 3-6 months.
