Avera Eureka Health Care Center is looking for a Cook to join our Team!

Job Summary

• Prepares and serves a variety of special diets for residents according to their clinical needs.
• Participates in daily meal preparations as well as meal preparation for special events and group functions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the resident/customer’s status.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the facility.

Education and/or Experience

• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in working with people and in demonstrating respect to others.

Work Schedule

• Day/Evening shifts as needed; PRN
  • 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 11:30 am - 8:00 pm

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $18.25 - $22.25
