Role Summary

As a Logistics Specialist (Shipping, Receiving & Kitting), you’ll play a pivotal role in managing inventory flow and ensuring accurate, compliant shipping and receiving processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain material traceability, support production needs, and deliver high-quality logistics operations in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments by staging, packing, protecting, and labeling materials according to detailed specifications
• Generate and verify shipping documentation, including material certifications and customer-required paperwork
• Ensure proper product handling and maintain material traceability throughout the shipping process
• Ship materials using approved carriers in alignment with packing instructions
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
• Perform inventory transactions, including stocking, labeling, and tracking materials
• Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory processes
• Monitor and replenish shipping and stocking supplies
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders
• Support kitting and inventory control activities as needed
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory control
• Experience with data entry and inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high-quality standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, walking) throughout the shift

Preferred:

• Experience in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and traceability requirements
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
