Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.
  • Oversee leasing processes, including marketing vacant units, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records for tenant files, rent collection, and property expenses.
  • Meets with residents regularly to address any rent delinquencies or resolve issues related to a resident’s occupancy.
  • Assist manager to conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Assist manager perform physical inspections of the property including vacant and “make ready” apartments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ assistant’s property management experience required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferably RealPage OneSite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule:

  • This is a PART-TIME position.
  • Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
  • Hours may vary according to the needs of the property.
