Surgery Circulator RN at Kirby Medical Center – Monticello, Illinois

Location: Monticello, Illinois

Shift: Day shift

Schedule: 30-40 hours weekly

Job Summary:

Pre-operative and post-operative experience preferred but not required. Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing surgical/endo procedures. Communicates with surgeons continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with procedures. Assists with maintaining equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and Hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Regulatory Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• At least 1 years of experience in nursing.
