Build the Accounting Foundation for What’s Next

Stonegrove Roofing Partners is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support one of our newly integrated roofing businesses while partnering closely with our corporate accounting team. This role is a critical hire as we continue to scale, integrate acquisitions, and centralize accounting operations across our national platform.

This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys cleaning up and owning the books, and wants to grow into a broader regional or centralized accounting role as the business evolves.
What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of existing books, including working through legacy processes, paper-based records, and imperfect data, while driving improvements.
  • Review daily bank activity and lead weekly cash forecasting.
  • Own and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Prepare and review complex accounting calculations, including commissions, WIP, and job-costing-related analysis.
  • Perform general ledger reviews and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for operations and leadership teams.
  • Partner with auditors on key schedules, including acquisition accounting, opening balance sheets, and integration-related reporting.
  • Support onboarding and integration into Sage Intacct, Ramp, payroll systems, and other Stonegrove tools.
  • Help refine, document, and standardize accounting processes as we move toward a more centralized model.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and automation resources to reduce manual work and scale efficiently.
What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 5–8+ years of accounting experience, including time in a progressively responsible or lead-level role.
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop; ERP experience required (Sage Intacct a strong plus).
  • Proven ability to work through messy, incomplete, or ambiguous data and bring order to complexity.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical judgment.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring bookkeepers or junior accounting staff.
  • Comfort operating in both hands-on execution and higher-level problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners.
  • Construction, home services, or multi-site experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable navigating change, integration environments, and evolving organizational structures.
Benefits & Perks

  • Hybrid work environment – A balanced schedule that combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration
  • Comprehensive benefits package – Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan – Company-supported retirement savings to help you plan for the future
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – Competitive PTO program designed to support work-life balance, along with paid holidays
  • Growth-oriented organization – Join a company in active growth mode, offering long-term stability and career advancement opportunities
  • Collaborative leadership culture – Work closely with operational and executive leaders in a supportive, team-driven environment
  • Meaningful impact – Play a key role in shaping financial processes and supporting scalable growth across the organization
