About This Position
New England Dermatology & Laser Center has been providing dermatology care to the greater Springfield community for over 70 years. We're looking for an experienced Call Center Associate with a conscientious work ethic to join our busy specialty practice.
Call center associates are responsible for meeting company targets in providing superior customer service to patients calling a physician practice with heavy call volume. This position supports clinical teams by processing calls, scheduling appointments within established guidelines, ensuring that chart information is up-to-date and current and taking detailed messages.

Pay:
- Hiring range $19.28 to $23.14 per hour based on experience and education.
Schedule:
- M-F 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week (1/2 hour non-paid lunch)
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime and scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate operational needs.
Work setting:
- In-person. The regular work location will be Springfield.
- This position reports to the Patient Services Supervisor.

Pay:
- Hiring range $19.28-$23.14 per hour based on experience and education.
High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years call center or customer service experience in a medical office preferred.
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types. Accuracy, attention to detail, good judgment & follow-through. Professional, courteous, patient, team player who is able to achieve goals. Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including active listening and ability to multi-task. Proficiency with phones, call center systems and practices, practice management, electronic health record and Microsoft Office software programs. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
