Job Description
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Physician Associate to join our CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative in Astoria, Oregon. The Knight Cancer Collaborative is part of the Knight Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Our Collaborative provides comprehensive, personalized cancer care to help people in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington receive the treatment they need, while maintaining their quality of life.
Practice Details
- Provide outpatient services at the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative.
- Clinic Schedule: 36 hours of patient care; four-ten (10) hour clinic days.
- Call schedule: Up to ten (10) days of call per month.
- Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on department needs and your areas of expertise and interest.
- Four (4) hours of administrative time are allotted each week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA program and successful certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants.
- Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants is required and must be maintained. To maintain national certification, PAs must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and pass a recertification examination every six years.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Must be credentialed by CMH Professional Staff.
