Job Description
Scope:
The Data Processor is responsible for ensuring all information processed by the bank is accurate and relayed to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Accountabilities:
The Data Processor will:
· Process unposted items, reports, notices and any returns.
· Receive and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
· Receive, process and maintenance ACH files.
· Provide excellent customer service both in person, electronically, and over the phone.
· Research internal and external account inquiries.
· Review file maintenance ensuring all information in the system is correct on a daily basis.
· Process stop payments and closed accounts daily.
· Process garnishment and levies.
· Complete AVS, SSI and VOD verifications.
· Complete daily balancing of reports and tasks. Review all suspended remote deposit items.
· Oversee dormant accounts by sending letter and follow-up maintenance.
· Print and sort end of month statement cycle.
· Perform first of the month, quarterly, and year end tasks.
· Participate in community activities as needed and any other activities that may arise.
· Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements:Qualifications:
Education:
· Associates degree in business related area or
· Specific banking industry education
Experience:
· Clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred
