This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Social Media and Communication Specialist in France.

This role sits at the intersection of social media, storytelling, and civic engagement, with the mission of amplifying high-impact public campaigns across France. You will shape and execute content strategies designed to increase visibility, engagement, and mobilization around key societal issues. The role is highly focused on short-form video, influencer collaborations, and real-time trend activation across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will also contribute to broader communication efforts by engaging with media outlets and institutional stakeholders. Operating in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment, you will help ensure that campaigns reach the right audiences at the right moment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on creativity, agility, and measurable social impact.

Accountabilities
  • You will design and execute social media strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and virality of campaigns, with a strong focus on short-form and UGC-style video content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • You will produce, edit, and sometimes appear in engaging content, ensuring strong hooks, storytelling quality, and performance-driven creative execution.
  • You will build and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and digital media partners, leading outreach, pitching, and co-creation of high-performing content.
  • You will monitor national trends, news cycles, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for campaign amplification and timely content activation.
  • You will contribute to media and institutional outreach by engaging journalists, outlets, and relevant stakeholders to increase campaign visibility.
  • You will track content performance and optimize strategies based on engagement metrics, reach, and acquisition outcomes.
Requirements
  • You bring at least 5+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or communication roles, ideally within digital media, advocacy platforms, or fast-paced campaign environments.
  • You have proven expertise in creating viral short-form content, with experience growing or contributing to large social audiences (100K+ followers or equivalent impact).
  • You are highly skilled in influencer outreach, including pitching, negotiating, and managing collaborations that deliver measurable results.
  • You have strong editorial instincts and understand how to align content with cultural, social, and political trends in France.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills in French (native/C1 level) and strong English proficiency (B2 minimum).
  • You are comfortable appearing on camera and using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support creative and operational workflows.
  • You bring analytical thinking, with a track record of contributing to or securing media coverage in national outlets.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of €45,000, aligned with a transparent and standardized pay scale.
  • Fully remote position within France, with flexibility to work from anywhere in the country.
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact, mission-driven campaigns with global visibility.
  • Work in a fast-moving environment combining technology, media, and civic engagement.
  • Access to a diverse, international team committed to social impact and innovation.
  • Benefits and additional perks may vary depending on location and local regulations.
