As a member of the Regal Holdings family, the West Bend Company brings over 100 years of experience to its clients providing high quality cookware products that meet and exceed expectations. We are experts in drawing and finishing high performance stainless steel. We believe the kitchen (and the family table) make up the hub of the home, where everyone belongs.

  • Create an environment where all employees can do their best work

You will love it here if you believe in the following:

  • Everybody matters
  • Do the right thing
  • We are in this together
  • Passion for our customers
  • Service Built
  • Involved Solutions Provider

If this sounds like the company for you, your seat at our West Bend Company family table awaits.

Your seat at the table: Quality Engineer

You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

Assist FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities

  • Lead the implementation of Quality management goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization
  • Evaluate all Quality and Continuous Improvement activities and implement plans to optimize performance and processes
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards

Own and Drive QMS Process Development

  • Author, own, and maintain core QMS procedures, work instructions, and process documentation - ensuring they are current, accessible, and actively followed on the floor
  • Lead the creation of new quality processes from the ground up: scoping requirements, drafting documentation, piloting with operations teams, and driving adoption through training and follow-up
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and single point of accountability for assigned QMS elements, including managing document revision cycles and coordinating cross-functional reviews
  • Identify gaps in the existing QMS framework and proactively propose, develop, and implement new processes to close those gaps before they result in nonconformances
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring process documentation is audit-ready and that operators can demonstrate conformance to documented procedures

Ensure Compliance with Regal Ware Supplier Quality Process

  • Ensure Quality Control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
  • Monitor and report on quality related KPIs to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system (i.e. scrap monitoring and rework levels)
  • Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis

Establish and Sustain Manufacturing Quality Controls

  • Define, implement, and maintain in-process inspection and quality control checkpoints throughout the production flow, ensuring critical-to-quality characteristics are verified at the right stages
  • Develop and manage Control Plans that align with PFMEA outputs, specifying inspection methods, frequencies, sample sizes, and reaction plans for out-of-control conditions
  • Own the nonconforming material process - from identification and segregation through disposition - ensuring suspect product is contained and systemic escapes are prevented
  • Collaborate with production and process engineering to design error-proofing solutions into manufacturing processes, reducing reliance on inspection as the primary quality gate
