Job Description
The Adjunct Instructor – Developmental Psychology is responsible for delivering high-quality synchronous online instruction focused on human development across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes from infancy through late adulthood.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Develop and deliver lectures, discussions, and learning activities focused on human development across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social domains
- Teach major developmental theories, milestones, and lifespan changes from infancy through late adulthood
- Deliver live, scheduled online class sessions and actively teach during all assigned meeting times
- Incorporate real-world applications related to childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging, helping students connect course content to personal, social, and professional contexts

Requirements:- Master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field required; individuals with a master’s degree in another discipline may be considered with at least 15 graduate credits in psychology
- College-level teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching diverse student populations
- Experience with online learning platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
