POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for managing the department personnel, global sourcing strategies, and all day-to-day purchasing activities in support of international supply chain requirements. The ideal candidate is technically adept, thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable balancing both tactical and strategic responsibilities. Strong communication, data-driven decision making, and process ownership are essential to success.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives
• Support business goals and drive department KPI’s.
• Manage the full lifecycle of purchasing activities (procure-to-pay), including RFQ’s, supplier selection, negotiations, PO placement, delivery management, and invoice resolution.
• Lead and manage a direct team, including performance management and talent development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments including but not limited to Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support sourcing decisions and resolve supply-related issues.
• Manage the supplier base through performance metrics, qualification activities, risk assessments, status meetings, and corrective actions.
• Support the development, implementation, and compliance of purchasing policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or related field. Bachelor's (Required), Masters Preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of international supply chain experience within aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated manufacturing industries, with at least 4 years of demonstrated leadership or management responsibility.
• Have an excellent understanding of metal commodities, machining, milling, fabrication, casting, forging, and outside treatment processes pertaining to the manufacturing of aerospace parts and components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, and BOMs.
• Strong technical analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Experience sourcing specialized components, machined parts, or advanced materials.
• Strong ERP experience: Global Shop and/or Epicor (preferred).
• Ability to work on-site and travel internationally is required.

COMPENSATION

• Job Type: Full-Time Employment
• Pay: base salary of $125,000 - $140,000 per year, discretionary bonus up to 20% of base.
• Compensation range is determined based on your educational background, certifications, and professional experience.
• This role is considered exempt and “ONSITE” in Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
