This role sits at the intersection of product development, engineering, and life sciences innovation, supporting the creation of high-quality cell culture media products used in critical research and therapeutic applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining product specifications that ensure consistency, compliance, and performance across global operations. Working closely with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the successful launch and lifecycle management of complex biological products. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented position where precision directly impacts scientific advancement and healthcare innovation. You will also play a key role in managing change control processes and enabling efficient product introductions. In this role, you will support the development and governance of product specifications while ensuring alignment across manufacturing, quality, and R&D functions. You will also contribute to cross-functional product execution and lifecycle management:
- Create, update, and maintain specifications for finished goods, prototypes, and intermediate products
- Manage product and manufacturing change control processes to ensure compliance and consistency
- Support new product introduction by coordinating across engineering, quality, and production teams
- Collaborate with product engineers, scientists, and designers to develop and approve customized solutions
- Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with regulatory and internal standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within product engineering workflows
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in engineering, biotechnology, or life sciences, along with the ability to manage technical documentation and cross-functional coordination in a regulated environment:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or life sciences environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in technical documentation and process management
- Experience in technical writing within life sciences is a strong plus
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments
