This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise-wide data and AI strategy to drive innovation, insight, and operational excellence. You will oversee data architecture, analytics, and AI initiatives, ensuring scalable, high-quality platforms that support digital transformation goals. Partnering closely with senior business and IT leaders, you will prioritize initiatives, manage risk, and translate complex business needs into actionable, data-driven solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams to modernize BI infrastructure, implement advanced analytics and machine learning, and foster a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement. Success in this role directly impacts business outcomes, accelerates intelligent decision-making, and promotes a culture of innovation. The position offers the flexibility of fully remote work while collaborating across enterprise functions to advance strategic priorities.
- Define and implement an enterprise-wide data and AI strategy aligned with business priorities and IT vision.
- Provide leadership across data, analytics, and AI, chairing cross-functional AI Steering Committees to ensure adoption and value realization.
- Partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, manage risks, and oversee financial and investment decisions for data programs.
- Oversee enterprise data architecture and governance, ensuring scalable platforms, regulatory compliance, high data quality, and clear ownership.
- Lead modernization of BI infrastructure, including cloud platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards, integrations, and vendor-managed services.
- Drive analytics innovation, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and MLOps solutions, translating complex business needs into actionable insights.
- Foster a data-driven culture, promoting data literacy, inclusive leadership, coaching, and development of high-performing teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- 12–14+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or BI, with 4+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, Informatica, and PowerBI.
- Strong project and program management, vendor negotiation, and budget oversight skills.
- Experience with AI/ML, predictive modeling, and MLOps is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex enterprise initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of data solutions.
- Experience fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement across enterprise teams.
