Purpose:
Oversee and execute maintenance programs for aquatic resources, including lakes, ponds, stormwater systems, and other bodies of water. Provide hands-on support for maintaining the health and functionality of these resources while ensuring safety and high standards of customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee and execute maintenance programs for clients' aquatic resources, including lakes, ponds, and stormwater systems.
· Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfactory service delivery.
· Apply best practices and follow operating procedures to deliver services safely and efficiently.
· Learn and implement core principles of lake and pond management, including herbicide application, invasive species management, and water quality testing.
· Safely operate small watercraft and other equipment as needed for service delivery.
· Troubleshoot mechanical issues with various types of equipment and report necessary repairs.
· Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, particularly when interacting with clients and team members.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· High School Diploma.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Proficiency in operating boats and towing trailers is a plus
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

The Aquatic Technician may be required to operate small boats, trailers, and other equipment. The job may also involve physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.

The pay range for this role is:
15 - 18 USD per hour(Charleston)
