- Own and evolve the organization’s BI platform and semantic layer, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and long-term scalability
- Define and enforce best practices for analytics engineering, including data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting standards
- Oversee the development, performance, and reliability of enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions
- Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to influence upstream data models and ensure alignment with analytics needs
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on shared metrics and enable data-driven decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics through curated datasets, documentation, and governance frameworks
- 6–8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data modeling roles
- Strong expertise in SQL and dimensional modeling, with the ability to design scalable semantic layers
- Proven experience working with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker) and data platforms (e.g., lakehouse or warehouse technologies)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or managing technical teams
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to influence data architecture decisions without direct ownership of data pipelines
