This position is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of the nursing plan of care and providing direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) and Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

Graduate of an RN School of Nursing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pediatric Nursing Experience
-
Possesses current State RN license.

Completes PALS within one year of hire.

Completes PEARs within one year of hire.

Completes pediatric orientation packet within 6 months of hire.

Completes pediatric medication administration exam with at least 80% accuracy.

Completes annual skills validation within designated time frame.

Preferred: Certification in specialty area when eligible.
