Hotel Head Housekeeper in Nampa, Idaho at Super 8 Nampa

We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. $15 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs
• Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations
• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed

• Oversee housekeeping supply inventories and submit orders to management as stock runs low
• Clean and fold laundry
• Clean and maintain the vending room

Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services
• Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills
• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED)
• Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment

• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping supervision
