Duties:
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse.
- Pick orders according to the warehouse management system and pack them accordingly.
- Manage inventory levels and perform inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
- Process and ship vendor returns
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers on product that needs to be returned
- Follow up with company's return credit
Requirements: - Previous experience in a warehouse environment with a focus on order picking, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and AS400 systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
