Lead Staff Clinician II at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

Summary

Lead Staff Clinician II, under the direction of the manager, serves in a lead capacity with regard to day-to-day operations and clinical oversight within the areas of responsibility. Utilizes therapeutic skills to assess the psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital, and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provides educational seminars and in-service trainings that may be beneficial and/or required.

Education

Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

Licensure/Certification

NVCI required within 60 days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSPP or LCAC required. Licensure and certifications must be kept current.

Experience

3-5 years in social service field, psychiatric hospital experience required.

Other Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
