About the Role:

The Endless Slitter plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining slitting machinery that cuts large rolls of material into precise widths for further production or shipment. This position ensures that materials are slit accurately and efficiently, meeting quality standards and minimizing waste. The Endless Slitter is responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring its operation, and making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure consistent product quality. Ultimately, the Endless Slitter contributes to the smooth flow of production and supports the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating slitting or similar industrial machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in industrial settings.
• Basic computer skills for logging production data and communicating with team members.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate endless slitting machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Monitor machine operation continuously to ensure accurate slitting and identify any issues or defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on slitting equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect slit materials for quality assurance, ensuring dimensions and finishes meet required standards.
• Maintain detailed production records and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding machine status and production progress.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
