About This Position
Job Overview
The Innovators and Litigators Podcast is seeking a full-time Podcast Producer and Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of the show from initial concept through final upload and ongoing social media promotion. This role requires full ownership of podcast production, including producing, filming, editing, publishing, and growing a professional podcast independently, while also managing all guest coordination and communication.
The ideal candidate is both a creative visionary and a technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This position offers a high level of autonomy and ownership over the podcast’s success.
As the podcast grows, this role is expected to evolve into a leadership position, with the opportunity to build and manage a podcast support team and help shape the long-term media strategy for the brand. This role serves as the foundation of the future Innovators & Litigators media team.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Production
Serve as the primary lead for all podcast creation and execution
Coordinate episode concepts with the Marketing Director and host
Manage all logistics for filming days, including scheduling, set setup, and equipment readiness
Produce, direct, and manage recordings to ensure smooth sessions and high-quality output
Filming & Technical Setup
Set up, operate, and break down all podcast equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and sound equipment
Monitor live audio and video quality and make real-time adjustments during recordings
Maintain all equipment and proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Post-Production & Editing
Edit professional long-form video and audio episodes
Produce short-form content such as reels, clips, and highlight shorts for social platforms
Add branded assets, captions, graphics, intros/outros, and transitions
Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, tone, and quality standards
Publishing & Distribution
Upload completed episodes to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all other platforms
Write optimized titles, descriptions, and tags to maximize reach and SEO
Create compelling thumbnails aligned with brand style
Social Media Growth & Content Management
Manage all podcast-specific social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Post weekly short-form content to drive engagement and episode views
Develop and execute strategic content plans to grow audience reach
Monitor analytics, insights, and trends
Prepare and deliver monthly performance and growth reports
Guest Management & Experience
Guest Scheduling
Identify, research, and propose potential podcast guests
Coordinate scheduling between guests, host, and filming team
Prepare and send pre-interview packets and filming details
Guest Engagement
Welcome guests to the studio and create a positive, professional experience
Guide guests through the filming process
Serve as the primary point of contact for all guest communication
Post-Episode Communication
Send recap messages and published episode links to guests
Provide short clips or promotional materials for guests to share on their platforms
Ensure every guest feels valued, supported, and excited to engage with the show
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Proven podcast or film production experience from concept through publishing
Advanced proficiency with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
Expertise with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Strong understanding of social media growth strategies and platform algorithms
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to independently manage a production calendar
Experience communicating with high-level professionals and managing guest relationships
Ability to direct on set, solve problems in real time, and maintain high creative standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience producing interview-style, legal, or professional podcasts
Knowledge of studio environments, multi-camera recording, and color grading
Graphic design or motion graphics experience for thumbnails and short-form content
Strong writing skills for episode descriptions and promotional captions
Ability to schedule, manage, and follow up with guests efficiently
Experience posting and managing social media clips that drive traffic to full podcast episodes
Work Structure & Expectations
Full-time role with flexible hours around filming schedules
On-site presence required for filming days and studio work
Weekly content production and social media posting
Monthly analytics and growth reporting to the Marketing Director
High level of autonomy and accountability
Excellent communication skills and a positive mindset, even in stressful situations
