Overview

Performing numerous manual duties to produce quality products in accordance with Company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to pack at a specified sustained rate for the shift.
• Cartons must be packed straight and neat. Product packed incorrectly will be considered unacceptable.
• Conducts a quick inspection of the product before the product leaves their assigned stage in the manufacturing process to ensure it meets product specifications.
• Will rotate positions every 30 minutes.
• Keep a sanitary workstation.
• Employee must be able to follow all GMP regulations.
• Stock line with packaging materials as needed.
• Relieve personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Required to use proper lifting techniques.
• Must be able to tolerate a cold environment of 40 degrees.
• Must be able to lift, bend and reach in place.
• Must be able to count.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The work environment may be noisy, dusty, slippery, hot or cold, depending on the particular product and manufacturing processes being carried out. Workers are required to regularly wash their hands with anti-bacterial soap and wear protective clothing including hair nets, gloves, masks and overalls, which will help avoid contaminating products.

Physical Conditions:

• Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Working in cold rooms (below 40 degrees Fahrenheit) for extended periods is likely.
