• Manage a full caseload of general liability and insurance defense matters from initial filing through settlement or trial
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, and prepare cases for trial
• Analyze liability, exposure, and risk to provide clear legal guidance and strategic recommendations to clients
• Collaborate closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management
• Maintain consistent communication with clients while delivering high-quality legal advocacy and service

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active admission to practice law in Florida
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including courtroom advocacy
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases independently in a remote work environment
• Experience with settlement negotiations, risk management, and liability analysis
