Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (evening and overnight on-call coverage)
Compensation: $53.00 – $60.00 per hour for patient visit time, plus guaranteed on-call pay through shift stipends.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night on-call team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in homes, skilled nursing facilities, and other care settings, ensuring patients and families receive high-quality, individualized support during end-of-life care.

Pay Structure: This is an on-call position compensated through a combination of guaranteed on-call pay through shift stipends, plus additional hourly pay for patient visits.

Pay Range: $53.00 – $60.00 per hour for time spent performing patient visits, based on experience, education, and clinical expertise.

On-Call Compensation: Employees are paid for being on-call regardless of visit volume through the following shift stipends:

• Evening on-call shift stipend: $400 per shift
• Weekend day shift stipend: $200 per shift
• Estimated Weekly On-Call Stipend: $3,200 per 7-day on-call rotation (Monday 5:00 PM through the following Monday 8:00 AM)

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent patient needs and provide symptom management during night shifts
• Perform patient visits, including death visits, supporting patients and families at the time of passing
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on symptom management, comfort measures, and end-of life care

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
• Active BLS certification
• Previous hospice, home health, or palliative care experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage an evening/overnight caseload
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
