Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations-StageRight, schedule, direct and coordinate the activities of department associates. Through personal example, provide leadership and ensure training of each associate in the safe execution of their duties and maintain the quality assurance of the product throughout the respected manufacturing process, while exceeding our customer’s expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Create and execute daily work schedules to support product ship dates, addressing any issues that may impact production.
- Hiring, training, performance evaluation, and coaching/discipline of associates.
- Enforce company safety regulations, maintaining a clean and accident-free workplace.
- Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Train associates on safe equipment operation and proper handling procedures.
- Supervise quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring correct adhesive application, record-keeping, and final product preparation.
- Maintain production records, including scheduling, scrap, rework, and safety reports.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment and one (1) to (2) years of experience in a leadership role.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
COMPUTER SKILL:
- Working knowledge of word, excel, internet, e-mail and MRP/ERP systems. Experience with Epicor is a plus
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Ability to interpret and read blueprints.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Practical problem solving that can occur during the assembly process.
- Ability to multi-task, by being able to complete more than one task at a time.
- Ability to operate machinery on a three-dimensional basis.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.
