Houseman/Cook- Purchase, NY at The Calendar Group – Purchase, New York

A private family of four in Purchase, NY is seeking a skilled and dependable Houseman to join their household team. This role requires a hands-on individual with basic cooking abilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to oversee vendors. You will work in coordination with an existing housekeeping team and must be able to take direction well and support the overall smooth operation of the home.

• Perform general handy work and light household maintenance as needed
• Prepare basic family-style meals (up to 4 dinners per week) and light lunch 3 days per week for the principal
• Assist in organizing and maintaining household systems
• Oversee and coordinate with outside vendors and service providers
• Support the housekeeping team with tasks as directed
• Ensure outdoor areas and common spaces are tidy and well-kept
• Run errands and manage household shopping
  

• Able to cook simple, healthy meals; not gourmet but well-prepared and consistent
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow direction
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Must be local to or able to commute to Purchase, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 8:30pm

Salary: $90,000 per year
