You will take ownership of key month-end close processes across multiple entities, ensuring financial data is accurate, well-documented, and audit-ready at all times. This is a high-impact role where your work directly improves financial reliability and scalability.
- Own and execute month-end close activities across assigned entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and variance analysis.
- Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation ensuring full traceability of all accounting entries and balances.
- Manage bank and cash reconciliations across multiple accounts, currencies, and entities, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support subscription revenue processes, including troubleshooting billing-to-ERP sync issues and revenue recognition workflows.
- Oversee AP and spend processes, ensuring accuracy in invoice coding, approvals, and payment documentation across systems.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity for assigned accounts such as accruals, prepayments, and intercompany balances.
- Identify root causes of accounting issues and implement permanent process or system improvements.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, controls, and documentation to streamline and strengthen finance operations.
- Support ad hoc accounting and financial analysis requests, including audit and tax-related preparation tasks.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting with strong ownership of month-end close processes.
- Solid experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and maintaining audit-ready accounting records.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles across multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Experience in fast-paced, remote, or distributed work environments with high autonomy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly explain and document financial data.
- Good communication skills and proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with SaaS subscription billing or revenue processes (e.g., Chargebee) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AP/spend management tools such as Payhawk is an advantage.
- Process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Competitive compensation aligned with location and experience, with a total target range up to approximately USD 98,000–107,800.
- Equity participation through RSUs with long-term value sharing opportunities.
- Flexible employment arrangements (contractor or employee depending on location).
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage for eligible employees (including medical, dental, and retirement benefits in select regions).
- 35 days of paid time off per year, including flexible public holidays.
- Parental leave policies supporting work-life balance.
- Access to mental health and emotional support services.
- Peer recognition program with rewards redeemable as gifts, donations, or monetary incentives.
- Fully remote, trust-based, and supportive work culture focused on outcomes and autonomy.
