This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale a mission-driven, healthcare-focused marketing organization at the intersection of clinical care, technology, and family-centered services. As Vice President of Marketing, you will define and execute an enterprise-wide strategy spanning brand, growth, communications, and engagement marketing, with direct impact on organizational expansion and patient access. You will lead a high-performing team while building modern, data-driven marketing systems powered by automation and AI-enabled tools. The role requires translating complex clinical and healthcare concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across B2B, B2B2C, and direct-to-consumer audiences. You will partner closely with commercial, clinical, and engagement teams to drive enrollment, strengthen payer relationships, and support growth objectives. This is a highly visible executive position with strategic influence across the organization and its external ecosystem.
- Define and lead the enterprise-wide marketing strategy across brand, growth marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, aligning marketing priorities with organizational mission and growth objectives
- Build, scale, and lead a high-performing marketing organization leveraging modern marketing technologies, automation, and AI-driven capabilities
- Develop and evolve a strong, consistent brand identity that reflects clinical excellence and a family-centered care model
- Translate complex healthcare delivery concepts into clear, human-centered narratives across all channels and audiences
- Oversee integrated marketing strategies across B2B, B2B2C, and direct-to-consumer segments to support growth and engagement
- Partner with commercial teams to drive pipeline growth, account-based marketing, and expansion into new markets
- Collaborate with clinical and engagement teams to develop omnichannel campaigns supporting enrollment, adherence, and patient engagement
- Build scalable, data-driven marketing funnels across digital, paid, earned, and owned channels
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness across all functions
- Lead strategic communications and thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Ensure alignment of all marketing activities with regulatory, compliance, and value-based care requirements
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with strong preference for healthcare or health tech environments
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing and scaling high-performing marketing teams
- Proven success leading integrated marketing strategies across B2B, B2B2C, and direct-to-consumer models
- Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems, including payers, providers, clinical workflows, and value-based care models
- Experience engaging Medicaid populations and underserved or vulnerable communities
- Strong background in building data-driven, technology-enabled marketing organizations
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex healthcare topics into compelling and accessible messaging
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across clinical, commercial, and operational teams in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of building trust, driving alignment, and leading with accountability and empathy
