Day in the LifeAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage and support maintenance employees while overseeing the repair and upkeep of all mill equipment. Your day will include supervising daily and weekend maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating work orders through EAM software, holding startup safety meetings, and ensuring safety compliance across the shift. You will play a key role in maintaining reliable operations, developing your team, and supporting production needs.
Key Responsibilities• Supervise the Maintenance department and assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Train, develop, and support maintenance employees across assigned shifts.
• Use EAM software daily to process work orders and order parts.
• Coordinate and supervise daily maintenance activities and scheduled weekend work.
• Lead daily startup shift safety meetings.
• Responsible for overall safety performance of the assigned shift.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and operational standards.
• Complete weekly time entry for payroll purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least three years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience supervising employees and multiple shifts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical knowledge of equipment operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in lumber, wood products, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work in a noisy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, reach, and work around moving equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and around electrical equipment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

The base salary range for this position is $86,600- $129,900. Actual base salary is based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
