Position Summary
Provides a positive and professional customer service experience while supporting daily banking operations across multiple branch locations. Performs a variety of customer transactions and account servicing functions, while ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers in accordance with banking policies and procedures
- Provide customer service support related to deposit accounts, account maintenance, and general banking inquiries
- Assist customers with account opening, product education, and basic financial services needs
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, balancing, and transaction processing within established guidelines
- Support daily branch operations including teller line coverage and platform assistance as needed
- Travel between assigned branch locations to provide staffing support based on operational needs
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, including customer identification procedures, privacy, and data security requirements
- Identify opportunities to refer bank products and services that align with customer needs
- Maintain a professional and positive customer experience during all interactions
- Perform administrative and operational tasks to support branch efficiency and service delivery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service or cash handling experience
- Ability to travel between branch locations as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment while managing multiple priorities
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing
- Ability to adhere to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, financial services, or retail banking environment
- Knowledge of deposit accounts, teller operations, or basic banking products
- Previous experience handling customer transactions in a regulated environment
